I had the privilege of attending several of Carolyn’s breath workshops and her method resonated with me in a way that no other meditation work has. I am the kind of person who can’t sit still for long periods but the way Carolyn led us through the breath exercises helped me connect to my body and relax into the present. Carolyn led a breathwork and meditation session for our youth leadership program and it was an incredibly impactful workshop for everyone present. She is a natural with teenagers and is remarkable at connecting with people from diverse backgrounds, giving instructions in a kind and gentle way, and making everyone feel comfortable. Breathwork with Carolyn is just amazing. She always created a safe space for me, I trusted her from the beginning of every session. The choice of her music and the use of her voice is so magical that it was always easy for me to leave my stressful everyday life for a while and fall completely into the relaxation mode. Her wording and her guidance just grounded me so deeply, I have always felt like I just came back from vacation. Her positivity and her warm-hearted nature simply make me happy.

During the summer of 2020, I got to be apart of the first cohort of New Community Builders. During one of the sessions, we got to meet Carolyn the founder of The Breathwork Lab. I really enjoyed this session because as a person that gets really anxious and overwhelmed easily, I was able to learn techniques to control my breath which can help with anxiety. It was really relaxing and soothing.
